Friday and Saturday are the liveliest times to visit Krakow’s nightspots: bars are crowded, as are the discotheques and the cafes and restaurants that are popular at the moment. All tastes and ages are catered for, and options run from the contemporary club scene and Krakow-based DJs and those from other parts of the country, to excellent live jazz.
If you’re looking for ballads, hip-hop, modern pop or rock, you won’t be disappointed as there are venues featuring all of these and more. A popular form of music known as ‘roots’ has its base in this part of Europe, and is well represented at a number of clubs.
