British Airways, easyJet, Ryanair and Sky Europe provide direct service from UK airports. Most other international flights require a stop or transfer in Warsaw, raising the fares of flights bound for Krakow. Other cities offering direct service to Balice Airport include Budapest, Chicago, Frankfurt, Paris and Rome – among others. You may find flight delays in the spring and autumn, as persistent heavy fogs are typical during these months.
The airport terminal, although relatively small, offers all the facilities that most travellers require, including ATMs, currency exchanges, a bank, restaurants, a newsstand, and gift and duty-free shopping. In the central part of the terminal, you’ll find an airport information desk.

Bus service also connects the airport terminal with the centre of Krakow, with frequent runs throughout the day and a journey time of about 35 minutes. Taxis are also readily available from outside the arrivals area, and take 20-25 minutes to reach the centre, depending on traffic conditions.
Parking: the airport provides more than 750 parking spaces to meet short- and long-term parking needs in a single car park, which is open around the clock and located opposite the terminal. Parking is permitted in front of the main terminal building for up to 10 minutes. Rates are set by the hour or by the day, depending on the length of stay: rates for stays of two days or longer are discounted. Conveniently located spaces for drivers with disabilities can be arranged by calling in advance.
