The Gothic Facade Copernicus Hotel Krakow is in a quiet, old, restored street of Kanonicza, only 150 metres from the landmark, Wawel Castle. A few minutes walk away leads guests to the Main Market Square and various shops, bars and eateries. The hotel has a swimming pool in a cellar and a rooftop panorama city views terrace. The splendid rooms vary in size and shape and are equipped with high speed internet, most have partial castle or atrium lobby outlooks. The delightful, unique, historic Copernicus Hotel, Krakow is a wonderful choice for those wishing to explore and discover the historic sites and tourist attractions of Krakow.
The rooms vary considerably in size and shape due to the historic nature of the building. Most are small to medium sized, but some of the suites are very large. Many of the rooms on the top floor have cosy sloping ceilings and little dormer windows give views out over the rooftops of this wonderful area, steeped in history. The decor is a delightful mix between classic old-fashioned furniture and gorgeous high quality soft furnishings and more modern amenities, espcially in the smart, stylish bathrooms. As would be expected in this, one of the best hotels in town, both the rooms and the bathrooms are in exceptional condition. Interestingly, some of the rooms have windows overlooking the beautiful atrium lobby, rather than to the outside.
Restaurant:
The hotel has a cosy little a la carte restaurant just off the lobby and breakfast is served here too.
Lobby:
The atrium style lobby is absolutely gorgeous, with comfortable seating for guests to enjoy a coffee, read the paper, or simply soak up the history around them.
Exterior:
This beautiful historical town house was built by the church more than five hundred years ago, but was converted to its present use less than ten years ago. It has a beautifully restored facade.
