Introduction to Pangasinan, Philippines
The Philippine province of Pangasinan is located in the west of central Luzon, next to the Lingayen Gulf. The province's name is derived from its importance in the manufacturing of salt, a major product of the area. The province also produces a lot of rice, mangoes and milkfish. By far the biggest feature of the province, especially as far as tourists are concerned, is Hundred Islands National Park. This stunning region is laced with many small islands, a good number of which offer empty beaches ideal for a day in the sun far from other people. Few of the islands, however, offer the facilities needed for long stays. From hotels in Pangasinan, visitors can sample such delights as Bolinao's Tara Waterfalls, the beautiful Balingasay River, Sison town's Antong Falls, Mount Balungao, and Manleluga Spring National Park. Tourists keen on history or architecture should visit beautiful Urduja House in Lingayen, Bugallon's impressive old Salasa Church, Bolineo Museum and the Lingayen Gulf War Museum. There are no airports here so the North Luzon Expressway is likely to be your route in and out, whether by car or bus.other spellings: pangasinanhotels, otel in pangazinan, pangacinan hotell, panga sinan hote
