Introduction to Manila - Filinvest City
Manila's Filinvest City is a newly planned urban development in the southern part of the capital of the Philippines. Also known as FCC, the development is nestled along the Laguna de Bay coast and is 244 hectares in size. It has shopping, dining, entertainment, hotels and residences in its master plan. Filinvest City hotels are located right off either side of the main Alabang-Zapote Road. The area has been well planned and is considered to be environmentally friendly, with many green spaces and tree-lined avenues. There are numerous gardens here, such as the Rock Garden, the Healing Garden and the Perfume Garden. Unlike other parts of Manila, visitors will find nice walkways and jogging paths. The area is also home to several school campuses, such as the St Francis of Assisi Alabang Campus and West Bay College. These institutions add youth and vibrancy to the area.
