Lantaka Hotel - Zamboanga del Norte

Among Zamboanga City’s oldest inns is the Lantaka Hotel. Some of the facility’s guestrooms overlook the beach and its popular Paseo del Mar boardwalk. Traditional sculptures and artwork are found throughout the lobby and rooms. The reception also offers tour services, currency exchanges, secretarial services, a fax machine and safe deposit boxes. South Sea pearls are sold at the souvenir shop. All of the small cabanas beside the outdoor swimming pool contain traditional duyan hammocks where guests can relax and nap by the beach. The inn’s Petit Barracks location is close to the Zamboanga Museum, the City Hall, Fort Pilar and Plaza Pershing. Guests can also easily see the bright lights of nearby Basilan Island.
