Introduction to Isabela, Philippines
The second-biggest province in the Philippines, Isabela sits in the eastern half of Luzon, in the Cagayan Valley Region. Most of the province is given over to the growing of farming staples such as corn and rice. Hotels in Isabela are expanding in number and quality as increased investment is made in the province's tourism. Santiago City is the biggest destination for tourists. Attractions in the province range from stunning beaches to the east, to fantastic hiking in the mountainous interior. The stunning white beaches at Dicotcotan and Didadungan remain largely unspoilt and are gems of the Palanan area. Forest areas here in Palanan, as well as at Maconacon, Dinapigue and Divilacan, offer incredible places to enjoy mountaineering, trekking and camping. River cruises along the Palanan River are also popular. Just south of San Mateo, a visual feast awaits those who seek the panoramic scenes at Magat Reservoir. The busiest airport in the province is Cauayan Airport, though the AH26 highway does a pretty good job of sewing the province together and linking it to Manila, which is about 300kms to the south.other spellings: isabelahotels, isabella otel philippines, izabela hotell philippines, isabala hote
