Introduction to Cebu - Catmon
A beautiful, hilly interior with stunning, unspoilt beaches is the best way to describe the seaside area of Catmon. Found along the coast of the Camotes Sea, on the popular Philippine island of Cebu, this area is best known for being the home of Cebu's second-tallest peak, Tore. Its sandy beaches, with a backdrop of hills and mountains that makes for some stunning scenery, are ideal places for enjoying a beach holiday. Those that want to venture away from the beach to visit local sites of interest can head for Bantayan Sa Hari. This stone tower is one of the most visited attractions and a visit here can easily be combined with a visit to Padre Miguel de Jesus Park and the Duyan hot springs. There are some great Catmon hotels, but be sure to book in advance if arriving during the popular Budbod Kabog Festival (February).Visit our Cebu Travel Guide
