The standard fee for a one-month tourist visa is six rial or four rial if you are a citizen of a country that belongs to the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf – namely Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Bahrain.
Tourist visas can be extended by an extra month by the police in Muscat for an additional fee or by crossing one of Oman’s international borders before immediately heading back in to the country again, thereby qualifying for an additional month-long visa.
