Rainfall is spread fairly evenly throughout the year, although August is typically the rainiest month. Winter brings lots of snow, but the weather is not usually bitterly cold.
Long days in the summertime make this a wonderful time to be in Oslo. The weather is mild and pleasant, with temperatures typically ranging from 20 to 25°C and occasionally rising as high as 30°C.
