Oslo is one of Scandinavia’s oldest capitals, having celebrated its 1000 year anniversary in 2000. Although the city has never been part of the typical tourist itinerary for Europe, there are in fact a number of interesting cultural and historic attractions, enough to easily fill at least three to four days of sightseeing.
