Introduction to Trondheim, Norway
Of all the major cities in Norway, Trondheim is the oldest and there are many remnants of its historic past throughout the centre. There is also a wealth of culture, a huge choice of dining options and a fantastic nightlife waiting to be discovered when you stay at one of the many Trondheim hotels. The local university population accounts for about a sixth of the city’s residents and helps to create a youthful feel in the bars and cafes. Hotels in Trondheim vary a lot in price but you do get what you pay for. If you are on a tight budget, like many other cities in Norway, you will find it difficult to find cheap rooms and the more exclusive hotels in Trondheim are around the historic district. Getting around the city is relatively painless and no matter which of the Trondheim hotels you stay in there is sure to be a bus or tram stop nearby.other spellings: trondheimhotels, trondheim otel, tronheim hotell, trondhiem hote, trontheim hotle
