Introduction to Tromso, Norway
Being one of the best places to see the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights makes Tromso in Norway one of the most often visited cities in the country. Fortunately there is more than enough accommodation though many of the hotels in Tromso are a little expensive. Timing your visit is essential if you want to see the Northern Lights and December to March are usually the best months. If you want to combine your trip with outdoor activities March is ideal and the Tromso hotels are not too busy. Skiing is obviously popular here but for something different you can try reindeer or dog sledding. There is plenty to see and do in the city but the one attraction you should see is the stained-glass windows of the Arctic Cathedral. Planning your itinerary and choosing one of the Tromso hotels close to the places you want to visit can save a small fortune on taxi and bus fares.other spellings: tromsohotels, tomso otel, troamso hotell, tronso hote, tromzo hotle, dromso hotes
