Situated next to Hardanger Fjord near the city’s major tourist attractions, the elegant Rica Ulvik Hotel is ideally positioned for relaxing in acres of natural surroundings, with a private garden to match. The restauruant is rather old fashioned in appearance, but at least less bleak than the rooms. Windows the length of the room afford diners lovely views over the fjord.

The lobby area is small but adjoins a lovely lounge and bar area. The hotel also has a small pub which is much frequented by the locals.

It is a purpose built 04 storey property of modern design with a rather drab facade.
