Rica Hotel Karasjok - Other Locations

A small comfortable hotel of excellent standard. The Karasjok Sami cultural centre is part of the same property and is well worth a visit.

There are two different styles of rooms-combi and regular, there are a very limited number of regular style rooms so most guests will stay in combi style rooms consisting of one permanent bed and one fold out bed. Rooms are, however, in very good condition with charming deocr featuring traditional Sami colour schemes.

The restaurant is again dominated by pine wood furnishings, it is quite an informal restaurant but clean and well maintained. Groups of people wanting to enjoy something different may choose to dine in the stoegammen, a large wooden 'teepee' with open fire place in the middle where guests can cook their own food, this is indicative of local culture.

Lobby area is small but adjoins another seating area giving more space. Decor is very much dominated by pine furnishings.

This is a low set wooden hotel in keeping with the architecture of this northern region.
