Rica Hotel Hamar - Norway

Designed primarily as a business hotel and a congress and exhibition venue, the Rica Hotel Hamar is strategically positioned in southeast Norway, some 4 kilometres north of Hamar city centre and the train station, with access to E6, a quick drive to a golf course, and about an hour by car from Oslo Airport. The sprawling conference hall on site can handle major events and is configurable for smaller exhibitions and conferences. It features a high ceilings, a drive in port from the parking area and advanced lighting and audio equipment. There are several well equipped meeting rooms for corporate use. There is also a restaurant, bar, large parking area, and swimming pool on site.

The restaurant is modern and a bit featureless.

The lobby area is of a medium size, modern and clean, however again seems a little dated and in need of refurbishment.

The hotel is of a modern design however the actual building looks somewhat dated and is reminiscent of a 1950's style accommodation block and is not very attractive from the exterior.
