Introduction to Molde, Norway
Molde is a popular city in the Romsdal region of Norway that is well served by all many forms of transport that bring passengers to the many hotels in Molde. The local airport is five kilometres from the city and has daily flights to and from many major Norwegian destinations. This is a stop for express boats and there are regular bus and train services. There are several attractions within walking distance of the city centre making this the best location if you are looking for accommodation in one of the Molde hotels. Buildings to see include the cathedral and the town hall with a rose garden on the roof. Outside the town hall you will find a much photographed statue of the Rose Maiden and the statue of the Jazz Boy in the market area.
