Lindstrom Hotel Laerdal - Laerdal

The Lindstrom is a family run hotel where service levels are always maintained to a high standard. Facilities are simple yet comfortable.

The rooms in the main building are medium in size and in good condition as are the bathrooms. They are Scandinavian in style, simple and comfortable. The rooms in the other two historic buildings are quite different and steeped with historical charm. Technically they are probably in less good condition than the rooms in the main building, but their historic feel should more than compensate for any minor shortcomings.

The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the main building. It is simple and clean.

The lobby is large and simple in decor with adequate seating and has a very popular gift shop.

The hotel consists of 3 buildings, the main building houses the reception, restaurant and about 70% of the rooms. There are 2 other more traditional buildings located across the street which are absolute jewels of rustic yet ornate country hotel architecture from the 18th century.
