Kvikne’s Hotel - Other Locations

The Kvikne hotel is one of the most famous in the fjords of Norway and although the rooms might not be quite up to the grand style of the historical part of the hotel, they are practical and comfortable.

The rooms of the Kvikne hotel are medium in size and are in very good condition as are the bathrooms. The standard rooms are housed in a modern wing behind the historical original hotel. There are only a handful of rooms in this traditional part of the hotel. Fjord view rooms are almost certain to be in the modern wing of the hotel on the top two or three floors with splendid views over the water and beyond to the mountains.

The restaurant is large and elegant with a sensational buffet dinner and marvellous views out over the fjord.

The lobby of the hotel is large and traditional. It has a souvenir shop and a bar area.

This is a landmark hotel consisting of a wooden building of Swiss architectural style which houses the reception and restaurant and a more modern wing behind it.
