Discount Kristiansund Norway Hotels

Kristiansund is a city on the west coast of Norway, which is spread over five islands that are linked by road and ferry. Its most outstanding feature is the gorgeous harbour around which many of the Kristiansund hotels are to be found. Visitors to the city are often surprised by the mix of architecture here that was created following extensive bombing during WW2 when most of the original buildings were destroyed. The least damaged of the islands was Innlandet where you get a flavour of what the old city was like. Seeing the city is simple from all of the hotels in Kristiansund as transport around the islands is excellent. Nearby Grip is a deserted fishing village on an archipelago and a favourite visitor attraction that is great for a daytrip. Food and drink is readily available in the city and some of the hotels in Kristiansund have restaurants serving excellent local dishes.
