The capital of Vest-Agder County in the south of Norway is the city of Kristiansand, a fairly large town that is known for holding a number of festivals every year. To accommodate the thousands of visitors who attend there is a great range of accommodation available from apartments to luxury hotels in Kristiansand. There is a Protest festival in September and a Blues festival in June but the highlight of the festivals is called the Quart festival. This is a music festival that features many top international stars and is held early in July.
