Innvik, Norway is one of the communities belonging to the bigger municipality of Stryn. This breathtakingly beautiful region of Norway is located on Sogn og Fjordane County's northern boundary on the Nordfjord's south side. The modest Innvik hotels available here rank between one to three stars, but are affordable by Norwegian standards. The main attractions within Innvik itself, whose population is just 378, are its three historic churches. One of these churches shares the village's name, while the others are named after the neighbouring villages of Olden and Utvik. The greater municipality of Stryn is situated at the Nordfjord's inner end, and its most famous attraction may be its summer ski school from where visitors can ski and snowboard down surrounding glaciers or enjoy leisurely cross-country ski treks in the middle of summer. None of northern Europe's linden forests are larger than the one in this area, which also contains Ramnefjellsfossen, the world's third-highest waterfall which is free falling.
