Introduction to Hamar, Norway

Hamar is sited on the eastern shore of Lake Mjosa, Norway’s biggest lake. Lake Mjosa, ringed by rolling hills, is in the east of the country about 80kms from the Swedish border. Hamar is a pleasant town with a pedestrian precinct running through its centre. The Stortorget square is at one end of the precinct and is close to Hamar hotels choices.
