This hotel comes recommended particularly for its really exceptional service. A rarity in Norway.

The rooms look a little old fashioned, and are decorated in classical style. They are mostly medium to large in size though and in generally good condition. The bathrooms are also in good condition, though overall both rooms and bathrooms would benefit from some modernisation. Some of the rooms overlook the central atrium whilst the rest have views over the quiet streets surrounding the hotel.

The restaurant and the bar is located in a roofed courtyard. This place is much liked by the local people in the city.

The lobby area itself is quite small, but there is plentiful seating in the sizeable atrium.

The hotel is housed in an old, elegant building. The facade is white and grey.
