Augustin Hotel Bergen - Bergen

This hotel is a rarity in bergen being privately owned and run, and therein lies its greatest appeal.

The rooms vary somewhat in size, but they are medium sized on average. They are decorated with subtle style with dark blue carpets and richly coloured soft furnishings. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in very good condition.

The restaurant is well known in Bergen. It is a long low traditional room with surprisingly modern, funky furniture. The hotel also has a very well known and charming cellar bar.

The lobby is small and an interesting mix of the traditional and the modern with a pretty chandelier forming the centrepiece and a strikingly modern walnut wood reception desk.

This heavy stone building is typical of Bergen with subtle art deco touches.
