The Scenic Circle Glacier Country Hotel is a 5 minute drive from Fox Glacier and is close to Westland World Heritage Park, a 2.6 million hectare wilderness where the Franz Josef Glacier can be found. The property is 3 kilometres from the parking area of the glacier, and its convenient location makes it accessible to other attractions like Gillespies Beach and Lake Matheson. Guided walks on the glaciers can be arranged, as well as scenic flights over the surrounding area. Activities like sky diving, hunting, trout fishing and glacier climbing may also be enjoyed.
