The rooms are all individually furnished and decorated so none are identical. They are medium to large in size and furnished to a high standard. They enjoy plenty of natural light. The bathrooms are fitted out to a high standard some with bath and shower and some are shower only. The interiors are classic in style. The hotel was converted from an historic building. The usual amenities are included such as TV, hair dryers, iron and ironing boards.
The in house restaurant is fine dining and is one of the best in city area. Not surprisingly it focuses on the best of local produce and the wine list features strongly Marlborough content.

A small lobby area with a house bar off to the right hand side and restaurant leading off to the left.
Exterior:
The exterior is a neo classical building in white concrete with tall columns. It was actually built in the 1920s as the regions insurance headquarters.
