The airport has a single terminal building, on one level, handling all arriving and departing flights. All facilities and services are centred on Schiphol Plaza, which is the airport's central hall, from which there is access to car parks, the airport train station and more than 40 shops. There is a currency exchange facility in the Arrivals area, and other exchange services are located after customs clearance on the landside Arrivals halls.

Transportation: Schiphol Airport is on the main A4 (also known as E10) highway connecting Rotterdam and The Hague with Amsterdam. Directions to the A4 and most major destinations are signposted at the airport exit. Driving time to the centre of Amsterdam is 25-30 minutes. Taxis are found at the rank outside Arrivals.
Parking: passengers arriving by car at Schiphol Airport will find ample parking facilities for both short and long-term parking requirements. ‘Smart,’ exclusive and valet parking are also available. You are allowed to stop briefly at the bus departure area to unload baggage before proceeding to the car parks. The airport’s ‘Smart’ parking features low rates for 8, 15 and 22 day periods.
