Eindhoven is an important city in the very far south of The Netherlands. It has a rich modern history marked most notably, possibly, by the liberation by the Allies at the end of World War Two. Many Eindhoven hotels will display the famous black and white photographs of the cheering crowds who greeted this event in 1945. Other hotels in Eindhoven are more family oriented outfits that run campsites and dormitory style accommodations.
