This is a very unique hotel in the middle of one of Holland's major tourist attractions and offers excellent value for money. The hotel is also famous for being home to over 1200 original paintings by worldwide artists, most notably Dutch and American, from the 19th century so this hotel is also the hotel housing the most original artwork in the world. From the view to the location to its history, this hotel is one of the most historical and comfortable hotels in Holland.

The bedrooms are all very different in size due to the history of the hotel but they are all in very good condition and some offer fantastic views. They range from small to medium and all bear the name of a famous Dutch person. Although a very traditional hotel, the bedrooms have recently been renovated and retain the traditional feel with modern, up-to-date furniture and fittings.

This hotel is famous for its kitchen and numerous restaurants, however, the general restaurant is still authentic and traditional in design and serves a typical Dutch menu. Breakfast may be served in one of many restaurants all of which are traditional and maintain some original furniture, decor and are very well maintained.

The lobby is large and resembles a museum with many antiques and paintings. There is plenty of seating in this cosy atmosphere and one of the main attractions is an original fireplace with Delft Blue tiles.
