Visas are valid for up to six months from the date of issue, and if it is your fist trip to Nepal, the visa is stamped for 60 days. If it your second trip to the country within a year, you will only get 30 days.
It is possible to get your visa extended in Nepal at the offices of the department of immigration throughout the country. The maximum stay allowed in Nepal is 150 days in any calendar year.
