By bus: buses are a cheap option of travel, but they can be incredibly uncomfortable especially for longer journeys. There are threats of landslides while you are travelling, increasing the journey time to as much as three times as long.
The main public bus stand can be found at the northeast end of the Pokhara airstrip and offers services to Kathmandu and towns in the Terai, while faster minibuses to Kathmandu depart from the front of the public bus stand.
