Pokhara lies about 200kms west of Kathmandu and is a popular destination for tourists, second only to Kathmandu itself. The city boasts picturesque mountain views and stunning natural landscapes. Devi’s Falls are also known as Devin’s, David’s and Ptale Chhango Falls. The site lies about 2kms southwest of the airport on the Siddhartha Highway and boasts an interesting legend. It is believed that a trekker known as either Devin or David was washed away by the Pardi Khola River and disappeared into an underground passage beneath the falls.
