The Island Jungle Resort, Chitwan is on an island surrounded by the Narayani River, in the north-western part of the Royal Chitwan National Park. Lighting is done by kerosene lanterms, electric light in the dinning room is supplied from a generator. The lodges are simple styled jungle huts with hot and cold running showers.
