By road: major border crossings into Myanmar include the crossing from Ruili in China to Mae Sai and from Ranong to Kwathoung. From these points of entry, travellers will need to make their way to Yangon by land or air.
By air: Yangon Airport handles a number of flights from international destinations including Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India and China. The country operates four domestic airlines which also use Mingaladon Airport, which is about 19kms from Yangon.
