Visa

A Visa on Arrival will only be issued if travellers can provide the following:

• a tour itinerary
• confirmed hotel reservations
• two passport size photographs
• passport valid for at least six months from date of entry

A fee is charged by the Immigration Officer for issuing the visa.

Thai and third party tourists who have border passes may cross at the Tachileik, Three Pagoda Pass, Myawaddy and Kawthaung check points along the Myanmar-Thai Border. Chinese tourists with border passes and others travellers already holding a visa can cross at checkpoints at Lweje, Nam Kham, Muse, Kyukoke, Kwanlong, Mont Lar along the Myanmar-China Border.
