Beach: one of the main attractions for visitors to Tangier is the wonderful beaches and reliable weather. The main beach is near the harbour and stretches for miles, so you can be sure of finding somewhere quiet to relax. On a clear day you can see Gibraltar in the distance. There are plenty of activities on offer including various water sports, football and camel rides. The beach is lined with bars and cafes, and deck chairs are available for hire.

Shopping: Tangier is like many other Moroccan cities, meaning that there are plenty of interesting souks, or markets, to browse around. The local handicrafts vary in quality so it helps if you have some idea of what you're looking for.
