Oudaias Museum: also known as the Museum of Moroccan Arts, this gem is located in a gigantic, beautiful lodge built by Moulay Ismail in the 17th century as his own residence in Rabat. The museum features wondrous Andalusian Gardens, considered to be some of the most beautiful of its kind, boasting a variety of lovely flower beds, ramparts and charming fountains.
Walking inside the museum, visitors will be blown away by the spectacular ancient Moroccan interior. Furniture is well maintained and very impressive. The marble room is home to illuminated Korans, pottery, precious jewellery and several pieces of musical instruments.
Postal Museum: this museum will delight philatelists all over the world. Founded in 1970, it displays wonderful collections of beautiful Moroccan stamps, rare envelopes, as well as fascinating telephone and telegraph machines. There are also marvellous examples of the Baudot, which is a telegraph with printer.
And the belinographs, which are machines that reproduce photographs from a long distance. Children will love the postal vans, while serious stamp collectors must not miss Morocco’s first stamp, from 12 May 1912, featuring the Aissaoua Mosque in Tangier.

The display of the skeleton is about 15 metres long and will surely keep children excited for quite some time.

Archaeological Museum: built in 1932, this impressive museum features a remarkable collection of Roman Hellenistic style bronzes, fascinating finds from excavation, and ancient tools.
