By air: travelling to Rabat by air is unarguable the easiest option. The airport is only 7kms away from the city centre, with the journey taking about 10 minutes. Rabat-Sale International Airport receives both scheduled and charter flights from all over the world.
Royal Air Maroc and Air France operate a number of flights to and from Rabat. From the airport, grand taxis are readily waiting for their passengers in front of the terminal.
Most cities have their own bus stations and provide good connections to their centres. However, instead of making a stop at the station, most buses tend to drive right into the city centres. It’s a good idea to have a map in handy in case you aren’t sure where you are.
By rail: travelling from Rabat to other towns nearby is most convenient by train. This is also the most popular method for getting to Rabat. Rail services in Morocco are very efficient and reliable. The main station is located in the heart of the ville nouvelle, only a short walk from the centre.
