Casablanca: a bustling city with enchanting European charms, Casablanca is an ideal destination for those wishing to gasp at hip buildings, trendy locals and many architectural gems located in the city. The old city area is home the medina, which is a famous bazaar venue.
There are many cool cafes around the medina, so you can sip coffee while people-watching. Once done with spotting all the people in the area, visit the remarkable Hassan II Mosque, the world’s third largest religious monument, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
A visit to the breathtaking Grand Mosque is a must; while markets are scattered around in the city, featuring all kinds of local goods. If time permits, walk around the harbour to see colourful fishing boats.
Temara: only eight miles from Rabat, Temara is a lovely seaside town, a peaceful and relaxing sanctuary for sun loungers and beach bunnies. There are several good picnic spots, while restaurants and nightclubs are aplenty. If you travel with your children, you might also want to take them to the zoo located in the city.
