By air: the small Fez-Saiss Airport serves both Fez and Meknes. It is located approximately 10 miles from Fez and has flights to other Moroccan cities including Casablanca. Connections to the city are by taxi or bus and take about 30 minutes.
By train: there are seven daily trains to Casablanca, taking five hours; five daily trains to Marrakech taking eight hours; and ten trains to Meknes with an hour-long journey time. The station is located in the new part of the city (Ville Nouvelle).
