Ryad Mogador Hotel - Essaouira

Even when its location is not the best in Essaouira, this it should not be an obstacle to book this hotel due the service, price and quality. Again, in a short car drive or cheap taxi ride - petite taxi - the traveller will be in the centre of La Medina. Recommended.

The rooms are like a small buildings- trying to imitated the traditional Riads - all around the fantastic pool. The 140 rooms and 16 suites, all have heating, ensuite bathrooms, satellite television, telephone and personal safes (extra cost). The rooms are medium size, comfortable and even when is not profusely decorated, have taste and give a good impression. The bathrooms, again, are good in size.

With two restaurants, the hotel covers the traditional Moroccan food - tagines, cous-cous...- but also the international dishes. The hotel also offers a fairly good room service.

The reception is big decorating in Moorish style, trying to recall the traditional palace of Morocco.

The exterior looks like an low traditional building even when it can be easily reconigse that is a new construction building.
