Located in the north-eastern extremes of Morocco, North Africa, Nador is a bustling Mediterranean port city that is home to over 180,000 people. With its situation on the picturesque Bhar Amzyan lagoon, this city is one of the country's leading traders in fresh fish, fruit and livestock. Nador is also a popular tourist destination that sees its greatest influx in tourists - both domestic and international - over the summer months. For this reason, visitors are encouraged to book their accommodation at any of the fine hotels in Nador well in advance. While there is ample to keep the visitor occupied here, Toaima - another of Morocco's many popular destinations - is located nearby, while the southern Spanish city of Melilla is only a stone's throw away (13kms). The European continent is connected by a small motorway bridge. Alternatively, travellers can always make their way across the divide by coach or rail from the city.
