- Casablanca Super Savers
The principal attraction in Casablanca is the imposing Hassan II Mosque, located on the edge of the Atlantic. The huge mosque is the largest in the Middle East, and the 600-foot minaret is the tallest in the world. It represents God’s creation of earth, sea and sky, and features a retractable roof as well as a glass floor that reveals the ocean below. Casablanca is the main transportation hub of Morocco and can easily be reached by plane, train, bus and ferry. The international airport is 20 miles south of the city and has international flights to destinations in Europe, the Middle East, North America and other parts of Africa. There are regular domestic flights to the Moroccan cities of Marrakech, Tangier, Agadir, Dakhla, Fez, Ouarzazate and Oujda.
