Introduction to Casablanca - Ain Diab
Ain Diab is known as the place where the rich come to swim. The Moroccan resort town is in the Corniche of Casablanca; the town of Casablanca itself is a short and speedy bus ride or taxi away. No matter how you get around, it won't cost you much. A round of the Formula One world championship was held on a specially made track here in 1958. Life revolves around the ritzy private clubs along the magical beach. Creature comforts for its high-society guests range from fine restaurants to dance halls. Still, many of these discos do not sell alcohol, in deference to Morocco's Muslim majority. Indeed, besides a lot of international travellers, Ain Diab attracts Moroccans on the hunt for a fun night out. Water sports and other diversions are based around the swimming pools of the many upscale Ain Diab hotels and resorts that are found throughout the area. Visit our Casablanca Travel Guide
