The capital and the largest city of Montenegro is Podgorica and as well as being a region it also has many natural landscapes that entwine within the precinct limits. The Moraca and Ribnica rivers flow throughout much of the district and there are many Podgorica hotels located on the pretty riverbanks. The Bjelopavlici Valley along with the Zeta Plain is becoming more developed with new hotels popping up in this area every month. Lake Skadar is found on the suburbs, around 15 km from the heart of the city, and the properties around the lake are extremely popular throughout the year.
