Introduction to Larvotto - Beach
Located on the most expensive street to live on in the world, Princess Grace Avenue in Monaco, Larvotto Beach is frequented by some of Europe's wealthiest people. This manmade beach is Monaco's only public beach and like most of the principality, it is extremely impressive. It comprises of three concrete jetties which are protected by large boulders. Just off the beach is a wide range of classy restaurants and bars to kickback in, most of which are open all year round. The climate remains comfortably warm throughout the year, making winter a popular and less crowded time to visit, while the water is best suited to swimming during the summer months. At the eastern end of Larvotto, activities such as volleyball and trampolining ca be enjoyed at an outdoor gymnasium. Water sports including jet-skiing and windsurfing as well as a scuba diving are offered at the western end.
