The grounds of the church, which are often filled with flowers, are also host to the local handicraft market, held most weekends, and also on major religious festivals.

Introduction to Moldova
Moldova is a country famous for its wine making connections and it is well established within the sector. Much of the land space is taken up by vineyards and there are a few top-class Moldova hotels found throughout the countryside away from the hustle and bustle of the country's cities. The accommodations in Tighina in the southeast of the country have a rustic and welcoming feel that can sometimes be lost in the large chain hotels found in the capital city of Chisinau. Much of the landscape here is hilly although not very high and properties outside of the larger cities are often surrounded by pretty landscapes and natural views. The Dniester and Prut rivers are two of the most notorious waterways and although the country is actually landlocked; the Black Sea is only a short journey away. Chisinau International Airport is the largest gateway and there are also many highways and train services that allow you to travel around the country with ease.
