Introduction to Veracruz - Boca del Rio
Boca del Rio is considered to be the city-centre district of the Port of Veracruz, a popular tourist destination in Mexico. The city centre has its own port too, but guests staying at Boca del Rio hotels are more likely to be business travellers rather than casual tourists. The city centre hosts most of the area's amenities such as world-class restaurants. Most business activity centres on the World Trade Centre Veracruz. However, there are several cultural attractions that are worth a look. Shipping enthusiasts might like to visit the Guanajuato Cannon Ship, which hosts an interesting ship museum.
