Introduction to Pamplemousses - Pointe Aux Piments
Pointe Aux Piments is one of a series of coastal villages near the town of Triolet, in Mauritius. The resort is situated in the district of Pamplemousses, one of the largest parts of the Northern Touristic Zone. Pointe Aux Piments hotels offer a quieter alternative to staying in more touristy resorts, such as nearby Grand Baie. In any case, the bright lights of Grand Baie are just a short bus ride away, courtesy of Triolet Bus Service. Some of the accommodation in the resort is first-class, set in beautiful tropical gardens and close to white sandy beaches. The north-western coast is sheltered from the strong winds which can batter other parts of the island. Additionally, it's easy to arrange diving trips here, as it is anywhere else on the island.
